Biography
Claire Gailliout finished her illustrious Rutgers-Camden career ranking among the Scarlet Raptors’ all-time leaders in numerous categories despite losing almost two full seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In only 35 career games – all starts – Gailliout collected 82 goals and 32 assists for 114 points. She finished sixth in career goals and third in goals per game (2.34). Her five career goals are tied for second on the career list, while her 32 assists and 114 points rank fourth and fifth, respectively. Among per game averages, she finished her career with the highest assist average (0.91) among all players with a minimum of 20 career assists. She closed her four seasons with the second-highest points per game average (3.26).

Gailliout also closed her career with the best shot percentage (.482) and shots on goal percentage (.794) among all players in program history with the minimum of 100 shots. Her 170 shots are the seventh-highest Raptor career total and her 135 shots on goal rank sixth.

Gailliout also finished her career with 49 ground balls, 44 draw controls and 26 caused turnovers. She captured New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention during her senior season.

Lacrosse 2022: Started all 13 Rutgers-Camden games…Led the team with 30 goals, 13 assists and 43 points… Named NJAC Honorable Mention…Paced the team with 57 shots and 46 shots on goal…Tied for the team lead with one game-winning goal…Placed second on the team with 31 draw controls, 21 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers…Had a .526 shot percentage and an .807 shots-on-goal percentage…Earned honors as the Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week March 7 after opening the season with five goals, three assists, eight points, two draw controls and the game-winning goal in a 13-12 victory over Eastern University (March 2)…Notched her season highs of six goals and six draw controls in a 16-11 win over Delaware Valley (March 14)…Collected four goals and one assist for five points against Ramapo (April 23)…Notched three goals and three assists for six points against Immaculata (March 22)…Had three games in which she collected three goals and one assist for four points, coming against Bryn Mawr (March 7), Gwynedd Mercy (March 16) and Bryn Athyn (March 19)…In the last game of her career, assisted on the Scarlet Raptors’ lone goal in a loss against nationally-ranked The College of New Jersey (April 26)…Had a season high of five ground balls against Kean (April 9) and notched four ground balls against both Neumann (March 9) and Immaculata (March 22)…Collected four caused turnovers against both Neumann and Kean.

Lacrosse 2021: Started all five Rutgers-Camden games during the pandemic-shortened season…Led the team in goals (4) and points (5) while tying for the team lead in assists (1)…Took five shots, all of them on goal for a perfect 1.000 percentage…Second on the team in ground balls (9)…Tied for second on the team in draw controls (4)…Led the club with four caused turnovers…In the season opener against Kean (April 3), put two shots on goal and scored one goal, while adding one ground ball, one draw control and one caused turnover…Assisted on the Raptors’ lone goal against The College of New Jersey (April 17), while notching two ground balls, one draw control and one caused turnover…Scored both Raptor goals in a loss against Montclair State (April 21), while adding one draw control and her season high of three ground balls…Scored the lone Rutgers-Camden goal against Stockton (April 24), while adding one draw control, one caused turnover and two ground balls…Collected one ground ball and one caused turnover in a New Jersey Athletic Conference quarterfinal loss against Stockton (April 26).

Lacrosse 2020: Started both games in the Raptors’ short season, leading the team in goals (10), points (11), shots (15), shots on goal (14), free position goals (2), shot percentage (.667) and shots on goal percentage (.933)…Added three draw controls, one ground ball and one caused turnover…Collected five goals against Manhattanville (March 7), while adding one assist and two draw controls…Had five goals, one ground ball, one draw control and one caused turnover against Bryn Mawr (March 10).

Cross Country 2019: Competed in the Jack Saint Clair Memorial (Oct. 12), running fifth on the Raptors’ team and 108th of 123 overall in a time of 36:14.6.
