Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A.J. McGettigan joined the Rutgers-Camden baseball program during the 2022 season, where he played on the same team as his brother R.J.
 
Baseball 2022: Appeared in six games, starting one…Went 0-for-2 but walked four times to compile a .667 on-base percentage…Had four putouts…Made his debut against Plattsburgh State (March 16) as a defensive replacement at first base, walking in his lone plate appearance and collecting two putouts…Started his lone game against Montclair State (April 30, Game One) as the designated hitter, walking in his lone plate appearance…Had two putouts and went 0-for-1 as a defensive replacement at first base against The College of New Jersey (April 28).
 
High School: Earned three varsity baseball letters at Neumann Goretti High School for Coach Mike Zolk…Earned First Honors as a junior and a senior…Graduated in 2021.
 
Personal: Born August 20, 2003…Aron “A.J.” McGettigan…Hobbies include ice skating and watching hockey…Criminal Justice major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to pursue a career in law enforcement, possibly in forensics or the U.S. Marshalls…A.J. in the son of Daniel and Margie McGettigan of Pennsauken.
