A versatile pitcher who has helped the Rutgers-Camden baseball team in both starting and relief roles, Anthony Angelo Jr. has appeared in nine games over his first two seasons with the Scarlet Raptors, making five starts. He owns a 2-2 career record and a 6.18 ERA over 27.2 innings, while walking five and striking out 14.
Angelo was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie Pitcher of the Week during his freshman season (March 18, 2024) and he has posted a career fielding percentage of 1.000, notching two putouts and four assists in six total chances.

Baseball 2024: Appeared in four games, starting three…Posted a 2-1 record and a 2.70 ERA in 16-2/3 innings…Allowed 14 hits and eight runs, five earned…Walked two and struck out eight…Defensively, made two putouts and had three assists in five chances for a 1.000 fielding percentage…Made his collegiate debut by pitching two innings against York College (March 7), allowing one hit and one earned run, while striking out four…Had his first collegiate start against Emerson College (March 15), working six shutout innings of two-hit ball, striking out two and earning the win in a 6-4 Raptor victory…The Emerson game earned him honors on March 18 as the NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week…Worked 1-2/3 innings in a start against Keystone (April 9), suffering the loss after allowing four hits, two walks and five runs (only two earned), while striking out one…Beat Wilson College (April 22) in his final start of the season, working a career-high seven innings and allowing seven hits and two earned runs in a 3-2 Rutgers-Camden victory…Struck out one batter…Didn’t walk any batters in three of his four outings.
