Biography

A stellar defensive center fielder, Auggie Uzdanovics passed the 100-mark milestones for games and hits during the 2024 season. He has appeared in 134 games, starting 114, and collected 110 hits during his career at Rutgers-Camden.
 
Uzdanovics also had 77 runs scored, 48 RBIs, 48 walks, 21 doubles, three triples and 20 stolen bases during his Scarlet Raptor career.

Baseball 2024: Appeared in 35 games, starting 30…Hit .215 with 14 runs, five doubles, 13 RBIs…Was 6-for-9 on stolen base attempts…Walked 12 times and was hit by a pitch three times…Posted a .309 on-base percentage and had a .262 slugging percentage…Defensively, had 65 putouts, two assists, one double play and two errors for a .971 fielding percentage…Played in his 100th career game in the season opener against Immaculata (Feb. 24), going 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs…Had a six-game hitting streak from Feb. 27 through March 7, going .389 (7-for-18) with six runs, six walks, one RBI and a .542 on-base percentage…His ninth-inning single against New Jersey City (March 30, Game Two) was his 100th career hit…Had four multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games…Went 2-for-5 with one double and three RBIs in the opening game of a doubleheader against Ramapo (April 20), collecting a two-run double in the eighth inning and a walkoff RBI single in the ninth to lift the Raptors to a 9-8 victory after trailing, 8-1 entering the bottom of the eighth inning.
 
Baseball 2023: Only player on the team to appear in all 40 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 37…Hit .275 with 30 runs and 20 RBIs…Tied for first on the team with nine doubles and tied for second on the Raptors with two triples…Had a .362 slugging percentage and a .345 on-base percentage…Stole eight bases in nine attempts…Walked 16 times…Had two sacrifices and two sacrifice flies…The Raptors’ centerfielder, he notched 97 putouts, four assists and one double play…Posted a .971 fielding percentage…Tied for third on the game with nine multiple-hit games, including five of them with three hits…Had a pair of four-game hitting streaks from April 8-13 (5-for-15, .333) and April 16-20 (7-for-18, .389)…Tied for third on the team with seven two-out RBIs…Advanced 42 runners in 89 opportunities for a .472 clip…Opened the season going 3-for-5 with a triple, a walk, a stolen base and three runs against Delaware Valley (Feb. 23)… Had an eighth-inning RBI infield single to drive home the winning run in a 4-3 win over Kean (April 1, Game One)…Went 3-for-4 with two doubles against Rutgers-Newark (April 6)…Went 3-for-4 with a double and one run against Penn State Abington (April 11)…Went 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs against New Jersey City (April 16, Game One)…His 10th-inning sacrifice fly beat nationally-ranked Rowan (April 21), 8-7, in a game where he added his season high of seven putouts…Had a huge doubleheader against William Paterson (April 22), going 2-for-6 with a double, three runs and one RBI in the opener and 3-for-5 with a double, a walk, one RBI and two runs in the nightcap.
 
Baseball 2022: Appeared in 36 games, starting 34…Hit .277 with five doubles, nine RBIs, 15 walks and three HBP…Fourth on the team with 20 runs scored…Had a .319 slugging percentage and a .372 on-base percentage…Tied for second on the team with four sacrifices…Fourth on the team with five stolen bases (in eight attempts)…Collected 67 putouts, two assists and only one error for a .986 fielding percentage…Tied for sixth on the team with seven multiple-hit games, including a pair of three-hit games…Had a 10-game hitting streak from April 5-16 (14-for-38, .368), the second-longest streak on the team in 2022…Went 3-for-5 with one RBI against York (March 1)…Went 3-for-5 with one double, one run and one RBI against Stockton (April 14)…Went 2-for-5 with two runs and two stolen bases against Cabrini (April 26)…Threw out a runner at the plate in the third inning against Wilson (March 8, Game One) on a single to center field…Had a season-high six putouts in the second meeting of the season against Stockton (April 15).
 
Baseball 2021: Played in 23 games as a rookie, starting 13…Started 12 games at third base and one in left field…Hit .236 with 13 runs and six RBIs…Had two doubles and one triple for a .309 slugging percentage…Added one HBP and five walks, one sacrifice and one sacrifice fly…Had a .306 on-base percentage…Defensively, collected 18 putouts and 20 assists, while turning two double plays…Made his collegiate debut at William Paterson (March 21, Game One) as a pinch-hitter/designated hitter, going 0-for-2…Five days later, also at William Paterson, went 1-for-1 with one RBI, singling home a run in the eighth inning for his first collegiate hit…That hit started a five-game hitting streak from March 26-April 8 in which he went 5-for-12 (.417) with four runs, three RBIs and one triple…Scored two runs in each game of a doubleheader at Rutgers-Newark (April 8)…Went 2-for-4 with a double and one run against New Jersey City (April 10, Game One) for his first multiple-hit game…Had a three-game hitting streak (3-for-11, .273) from April 15-17…Went 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, his first stolen base and four runs scored in a May 4 New Jersey Athletic Conference playoff win against Rutgers-Newark…Had season highs of four assists at third base against both Rutgers-Newark (April 8, Game One) and Kean (April 24, Game Two).
