Speedy Austin Dubler played in the middle infield throughout most of his sophomore season before settling into the role of the Scarlet Raptors’ designated hitter and leadoff man, where he became a stellar table-setter for the Raptors’ potent offense. A .274 career hitter, Dubler already ranks sixth on the program’s career list with 35 stolen bases.

Baseball 2025: Led the Scarlet Raptors with 25 stolen bases (in 28 attempts), the fourth-highest single-season steal mark in program history…Played in 36 games, starting 29, and hitting .275…Tied for fourth on the team with 34 runs and added 11 RBIs…Notched 28 hits, including two doubles and two triples…Finished second on the team with 24 walks and also reached base once as a hit batsman…Posted a .417 on-base percentage and a .333 slugging percentage…Went 1-for-2 with a stolen base, one run and one RBI in a win over Rosemont (March 12)…Went 1-for-2 with a triple, one run, one stolen base, two walks and two RBIs in a win over Ripon (March 17), while adding six putouts and four assists at second base…His leadoff double in the first inning was the only hit for Rutgers-Camden in a loss against Saint John’s (March 20)…Playing shortstop, went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run and one RBI against The College of New Jersey (April 4), while collecting two putouts and three assists…Went 1-for-2 with two walks, two steals and three runs scored against Keystone (April 7)…In the opener of a doubleheader at Rutgers-Newark (April 13), went 1-for-3 with three walks, two runs and one RBI, while notching two putouts and his season high of six assists at shortstop…Went 1-for-4 with three walks, two stolen bases, one RBI and four runs scored against Rowan (April 14)…Had a 2-for-5 game with a stolen base and two runs against Montclair State (April 25)…That game started his season-high seven-game hitting streak (11-for-29, .379, 14 runs scored, seven stolen bases), which ran through the Scarlet Raptors’ four-game sweep to the New Jersey Athletic Conference championship…In the NJAC playoffs he went 2-for-5 with two steals, one run and one RBI against top-seeded Kean (May 1), 3-for-6 with a walk and a run against Montclair State (May 3), 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and four runs in the winners’ bracket final against Rowan (May 7) and 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and one run in the title game against The College of New Jersey (May 9)…Overall in the four NJAC tournament games, he hit .389 (7-for-18) with four stolen bases, three walks, one RBI and seven runs scored.
Baseball 2024: Appeared in 29 games, starting three…Made two starts at second base and one in left field…Hit .267 (4-for-15), scored 13 runs and added four RBIs…Added one double for a .333 slugging percentage…Finished third on the team in stolen bases with 10, while being successful on all of his steal attempts…Worked six walks to post a .455 on-base percentage…Made his collegiate debut as a pinch-hitter against Gwynedd Mercy (Feb. 27), drawing a walk…Was inserted as a pinch-runner on March 1 against Penn State-Abington and stole his fist base…In a doubleheader against Rosemont (March 3), walked and scored his first run in the first game and made his first collegiate start (at second base) in the nightcap, going 1-for-3 for his first collegiate hit…Also added two assists in that game…Went 1-for-1 with a two-run double against Oneonta (March 12)…Stole two bases and scored a run as a pinch runner against UMass-Dartmouth (March 14), the first of three straight games in which he scored a run as a pinch runner…Started at second base against Keystone (April 9) and went 1-for-3 with three walks, one RBI and three runs scored...Had his first collegiate sacrifice fly against William Paterson (April 27, Game Two).
