Christian Lee brings plenty of playing and coaching experience to his new position as an assistant coach with the Rutgers-Camden baseball program this season.
 
Lee has coached on the high school, college and AAU levels after a fine playing career that included Division I St. John’s University and Division III Rowan University. He hit .318 (7-for-22) with seven runs and two RBIs at St. John’s in 1999 before closing out his collegiate career with three years at Rowan (2001-03). During the 2001 season, Lee earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention recognition as a designated hitter. He served as the Profs’ team captain in 2003.
 
A 2003 graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Health and Exercise Science, Lee served as an assistant baseball coach at Rowan in 2012 before beginning a long stint as an assistant baseball coach at Shawnee High School, in 2013. During his scholastic career at Cherokee High School, he was named the Burlington County Player of the Year as a senior.
 
The owner of the strength and conditioning facility Athletic Republic and the Escape Movement Center, based in Mount Laurel, Lee also owns and coaches the NJ Pride/SJ Young Guns AAU Baseball Program.
