A four-year member of the Rutgers-Camden baseball program, Dustin Bellis joins the staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2025 season.
 
During his collegiate career, Bellis proved to be a versatile utility man, seeing time in the outfield, at catcher, second base, third base, as the designated hitter, being used as a pinch-hitter and a pinch-runner and hurling 26 games in relief. Overall, Bellis appeared in 52 games at Rutgers-Camden, posting a .300 career batting average and working 35 relief innings. He earned his lone collegiate decision as a senior, picking up the win in a 9-8 victory over Alvernia (April 16, 2024) by working one scoreless, hitless inning. He walked one and struck out one.
 
Bellis had a fine senior season, working 9.2 innings over eight relief appearances while posting a 1-0 record and a 0.93 ERA. He walked three and struck out nine, while holding opponents to a .167 batting average.
 
A Criminal Justice major with an Accounting minor, Bellis established a stellar record in the classroom, including New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 scholastic years. A Dean’s List student, he was a member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during all eight of his semesters.
 
A member of the Rutgers-Camden Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), he graduated in May of 2024.
 
During his scholastic days at Audubon High School, Bellis earned four varsity letters in basketball and three in baseball, while earning Honor Roll status in the classroom. He also captured a Colonial Conference Sportsmanship Award in 2020.
