Former Gloucester Catholic High School standout Jeff Mazzola joined the Rutgers-Camden baseball coaching staff in 2018 and returns for his second season in 2019.
 
Mazzola was a two-sport star for the Rams, where he captured All-South Jersey First Team, All-State Second Team and All-Conference First Team honors as a pitcher during his playing career. He also was a center and linebacker for the Rams’ football program.
 
Mazzola went on to pitch for the University at Albany, where he threw a no-hitter and was named the Louisville Slugger Player of the Week.
 
A coach and instructor at the Tri-State Arsenal/Hit Doctor baseball academy since 2007, he is employed as a realtor/sales associate for Lamb Realty.
