Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Cory Kreamer stepped into the starting centerfielder job in his first year at Rutgers-Camden, providing terrific defense, good speed and a steady bat. A transfer who played two years of junior college baseball, Kreamer returns for his senior season of collegiate eligibility.
 
Baseball 2016:  Played in 28 games, starting 25 in center field, before an injury forced him to miss the last eight games of the year…Hit .276 with a .398 slugging percentage and a .374 on-base percentage…Finished second on the team in doubles (9) and stolen bases (a perfect 9-for-9)…Added one home run, 11 walks, one sacrifice, one sacrifice fly and five HBP…Scored 20 runs and drove home 16…Notched nine multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games…Hit .700 (7-for-10) with a runner at third base and less than two outs…Had a seven-game hitting streak from March 9-18, going 11-for-27 (.407) with seven runs and nine RBIs…Had a huge game against York College (PA) on March 9, going 3-for-5 with two runs and six RBIs, delivering a two-run single in a three-run second inning; a two-run double in the six-run fifth and a two-run home run to account for the Raptors’ eighth-inning scoring…Also added six putouts against York, his season high that he also tied in the opener of a doubleheader against William Paterson University (April 2)…Had the first of his eight two-hit games against No. 2-ranked Wisconsin-La Crosse (March 13), going 2-for-5 with two runs, a walk and two stolen bases…Went 2-for-3 against No. 15/22 Washington University (MO) on March 15, adding two HBP, one stolen base and one RBI…Went 2-for-4 with a double, one run and two RBIs against Susquehanna University (March 23)…Had back-to-back two-hit games, going 2-for-3 with a double, a sacrifice and one run against William Paterson University (April 2, Game 2) and 2-for-4 with one run against Rowan University (April 8)…Had back-to-back 2-for-4 games with two runs scored against Stockton University (April 14 and 15), adding two doubles and one RBI in the second contest against the Ospreys…Went 2-for-2 with a double and one run in the nightcap of a doubleheader at Ramapo College (April 16)…Drew three walks and went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI at Keystone College (April 19).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played baseball one season apiece at Camden County College and at Rowan College at Gloucester County...During the 2014 season at Camden County College, played in 37 games and hit .333 with a .396 slugging percentage and a .444 on-base percentage…Scored 27 runs, had 19 RBIs, stole 18 bases and had 22 walks…Hit .286 with a .333 on-base percentage and a .571 slugging percentage at RCGC in 2015.
 
High School: Baseball letterman at Father Judge High School for Coach Tim Ginter…All-Catholic League First Team during his junior and senior seasons...Graduated in 2012.
