Biography

Part of the Scarlet Raptors’ top trio of starting pitchers, Daniel Robeson wrapped up his Rutgers-Camden career with another strong season in 2025. He finished his three-year career Raptor career pitching in 34 games, including 28 starts, and posting a 10-11 record with a 5.03 ERA.
 
A transfer from Felician University , Robeson ranks ninth on the Rutgers-Camden career pitching charts for strikeouts (161), 10th for at bats (691), 13th for innings pitched (175.1) and is tied for 17th with his 10 wins. He also collected three saves during his career, tied for the 14th-highest career total.

Baseball 2025: Led the team with 70 innings pitched, 67 strikeouts and 283 batters faced…Was fourth in appearance (13) and third in starts (10)…His 283 at bats and 67 strikeouts both tied for eighth place on the program’s single-season charts…Allowed 76 hits and 53 runs (44 earned) for a 5.66 ERA…Walked 28 and hit six batters…Posted a 3-4 record and two saves…Worked 3.1 innings to earn a save in the season opener against Immaculata (Feb. 22, Game One), allowing three hits, one walk and two earned runs, while striking out six…Threw three innings in relief against Swarthmore (March 1), allowing three hits, one walk and three earned runs, while fanning four…Collected his first win in a start against York (March 6), working five innings of six-hit ball, walking four, striking out eight and allowing five runs, only three of them earned…Suffered the loss in a start against Johns Hopkins (March 17), working 5.2 innings and allowing 10 hits, two walks and seven runs (six earned), while fanning his season high of 13…Earned a save with 1.1 innings of three-hit ball against Maritime, allowing two earned runs...Tossed seven innings, allowing four hits, three walks and one unearned run, while striking out seven, to earn the win as the Raptors edged New Jersey City, 6-4 (March 29, Game Two)…Turned in an outstanding eight-inning performance without a decision in the Raptors’ eventual 3-2 loss at Kean (April 5, Game Two), allowing five hits and two runs (one unearned), while striking out nine…Had no decision in a wild 20-12 win at Rowan, working 4.1 innings and allowing 11 hits, seven earned runs and two walks, while striking out three…Suffered a tough 2-0 loss at Ramapo (April 19, Game One), working seven innings of four-hit ball, striking out seven and allowing two walks and two earned runs…Lost to Montclair State (April 25), working 5.2 innings and allowing seven hits, four walks and eight runs (only four earned), while striking out two…Started the Scarlet Raptors’ New Jersey Athletic Conference playoff opener at top-ranked Kean (May 1) and hurled 7.2 innings, allowing seven hits, two walks and four earned runs while fanning three in a game the Raptors rallied to win, 7-4…Earned the victory as Rutgers-Camden clinched the NJAC championship with a 5-2 win over The College of New Jersey (May 9), working 6.2 innings and allowing four hits, five walks and two earned runs, while striking out five…Lost his final start in the NCAA tournament at top-seeded Johns Hopkins, working 5.1 innings and allowing nine hits, two walks and eight earned runs…Overall, in his 13 appearances, he faced eight teams in his 10 starts that were either nationally ranked or receiving votes toward the 2025 national polls.
 
Baseball 2024: Appeared in 10 games, making eight starts and posting a deceptive 2-4 record, with one save and a 3.70 ERA…Worked 48-2/3 innings, allowing 49 hits and 17 walks, while striking out 41…His strikeouts and innings were the second-highest totals on the staff…Captured honors as Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on April 29…Made his season debut hurling four scoreless innings of two-hit ball, walking three and striking out six without earning a decision in the Raptors’ eventual 4-0 loss to Immaculata (Feb. 24)…A victim of little run support in many of his starts, had another game without a decision against nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins (March 5) despite working 6-2/3 innings of six-hit ball, allowing only one walk and one earned run, while striking out his season high of seven in a game the Raptors eventually lost, 4-3…Hurled five innings of three-hit ball, walking three, striking out four and allowing one earned run without getting a decision in a game the Raptors lost against Cornell (March 12), 5-3…Hurled a scoreless, hitless inning in relief, striking out two, to earn a save in a 6-5 victory over Bowdoin (March 16)…Suffered a 3-2 loss in relief against Ursinus (March 24), despite allowing only two unearned runs in 2-2/3 innings, striking out four and surrendering two hits and two walks…Finally received offensive support and beat New Jersey City (March 30), 7-3, to earn his first win, hurling seven innings of six-hit ball and allowing two walks and one unearned run…He struck out six in that game and evened his record at 1-1 while lowering his ERA to 0.68…Had his first tough outing of the season in a 20-5 loss at Rowan (April 11), working two innings and allowing eight hits, three walks, one hit batter and 12 runs (11 earned), while striking out two…Lost a 6-2 decision against Stockton despite allowing only one earned run out of four charged to him…Worked 6-1/3 innings in that game, striking out one and allowing eight hits…Pitched a season high of 7-2/3 innings and earned a 3-2 win at Montclair State (April 25), allowing six hits, one walk and one earned run, while fanning five…In his last outing of the season, worked 6-1/3 innings and suffered the loss at Ramapo (April 30), allowing eight hits, two walks and six runs (five earned), while striking out four…In 10 outings during the season, he allowed one or no earned runs in eight of them.
