A transfer from Salisbury University, pitcher/first baseman Dante Camilli has earned numerous academic honors in his three seasons at Rutgers-Camden. After a pair of injury-plagued seasons, Camilli got his first taste of action with the Scarlet Raptors in the brief 2020 campaign, which was shortened to six games by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Baseball 2020: Made his first Scarlet Raptor appearance in the nightcap of the season-opening doubleheader against Immaculata on Feb. 23…Was inserted as a pinch-runner for Brett Yurgin during the 12-run fifth inning, which set a program record for the most runs in one inning…Stayed in the game as the designated hitter and made his first plate appearance in the sixth, drawing a bases-loaded walk to pick up an RBI.
