A transfer from Burlington County College, Frank Cerami IV saw action on the mound and in the outfield during his first year at Rutgers-Camden during the 2015 campaign. Last season, as a junior, he started 13 games at first base for the Scarlet Raptors.

During his two seasons at Rutgers-Camden, Cerami has appeared in 25 games, while compiling a .355 on-base percentage. One of the top student-athletes on the team as well, he was named to the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2016 semester.
Baseball 2016: Played in 17 games, starting 13, all at first base…Hit .209 with a .256 slugging percentage…Walked 13 times and was hit by a pitch once, compiling a .404 on-base percentage…Scored seven runs and had six RBIs…Collected three doubles and went 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts…Placed third on the team with 98 putouts, while adding nine assists and 10 double plays…Opened the season against Penn State-Abington (March 2), going 0-for-2, but drawing three walks and adding two RBIs and 10 putouts…Coupled with his sharp eye at the plate, reached base safely in 12 straight games (March 2-April 2), hitting .243 (9-for-37) over that span, but adding 12 walks and one HBP…Had a four-game hitting streak against some of the top teams in the country (March 13-17), going 5-for-15 (.333), while adding five runs and four walks…Collected two multiple-hit games, going 2-for-3 against Wheaton College (March 16) and 2-for-4 with two RBIs against Susquehanna University (March 23)…The Susquehanna and Penn State-Abington games were two of his three multiple-RBI contests during the season, with the other coming against defending national champion Cortland State (March 14), when he went 1-for-3 with one run, one walk and two RBIs…Had 12 putouts and one assist against both No. 10/13-ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point (March 18, Game 2) and Stevens Institute of Technology (March 29)…Overall, had four games with double-digit putouts.
Baseball 2015: Appeared in eight games overall, starting five in left field and making a pair of relief appearances…Also was a defensive replacement at first base against Johns Hopkins (March 25), collecting five putouts and one assist…His .211 (4-for-19) with one double, one RBI, a .263 slugging percentage, 11 putouts, five assists and a double play, posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage…On the mound, worked six innings and allowed only four hits, one walk and one earned run, while striking out three…Posted a 1-0 record, a 1.50 ERA and a .190 opponent batting average…Made his collegiate debut against No. 4/5 Birmingham Southern University (March 17), working three innings and allowing four hits, one walk and one earned run…Also struck out one batter and had two assists…Made his first start in left field against Centenary College (March 19), going 1-for-4, with a fourth-inning RBI double for his first Raptor hit…Added three putouts and one assist…Went 2-for-4 and added one putout in a start against Trinity College (March 20, Game One)…Went 1-for-5, had two putouts and one assist against William Paterson University (March 29, Game One)…Made his second pitching appearance in relief against Penn State-Abington (March 30), working three perfect innings, striking out two and earning the victory as the Raptors rallied for a 4-3 win.
Pre-Rutgers: Earned a letter at Burlington County College (now Rowan College at Burlington County) in 2013…Helped the team to a Regional Championship game as a freshman, as both a pitcher and a position player…Team was the 2013 NJCAA Region 19 runner-up.
High School: Captured three varsity baseball letters at Rancocas Valley High School, playing for Coach Bryan Bozarth…All-Conference player…Four-year Honor Roll student…Graduated in 2012.
