Jake Guglielmi earned New Jersey Athletic Conference honors on the baseball field and in the classroom during his two years at Rutgers University-Camden. A transfer who played baseball for Rowan College of South Jersey-Cumberland, Guglielmi played in 60 games as the Scarlet Raptors’ catcher, starting 54 career games and compiling a .265 batting average and 330 putouts.

Baseball 2022: Appeared in 34 games, starting 31 as the Scarlet Raptors’ main catcher…Hit .268 with a .366 slugging percentage and a .383 on-base percentage…Third on the Raptors in RBIs (20) and sixth in runs (18)…Tied for the team lead with one triple and tied for second on the team with six doubles…Reached base 15 times on walks and six as a hit batsman…Went 3-for-4 on stolen base attempts…Second on the team with 186 putouts, while adding 23 assists and two double plays…Third on the team with 10 multiple-hit games, including a game against Arcadia (April 19) when he went 3-for-5 with one double, one run and two RBIs…Tied for second on the team with five multiple-RBI games, with the biggest day coming in the opener of a doubleheader against New Jersey City (April 16) when he went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs, aided by his lone home run of the season…Had a pair of four-game hitting streaks, coming from March 16-19 (7-for-14, .500) and April 15-19 (8-for-14, .571)…Opened the season in a doubleheader against Oneonta (Feb. 27) and a single game against York (March 1) going 5-for-10 (.500) with one run, one RBI and one triple…Closed the season in a doubleheader against Montclair State (April 30) going 3-for-7 (4.29) with three RBIs, one run and one sacrifice…Defensively, had eight games with double-digit putouts, including a high of 15 in the opener of the New Jersey City doubleheader (April 16)…Had three assists in a game on four occasions, including a pair of runners caught stealing against Rutgers-Newark (April 8) and a game against Neumann (April 12) when he had two assists as a catcher after starting in left field and picking up an assist.
