Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Southpaw Jeff Singer joins the Rutgers-Camden pitching staff for his final season of collegiate eligibility. A two-time junior college All-American at Gloucester County College, he also pitched one season at Monmouth University.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Appeared in 10 games, starting eight, at Monmouth University in 2014…Worked 42-2/3 innings, compiling a 5-3 record and a 6.33 ERA…Walked 10 and struck out 30, allowing 49 hits and 32 runs (30 earned)…Named MAAC Pitcher of the Week on April 22, 2014 and added ECAC Pitcher of the Week honors the next day…Was a two-time NJCAA Division III All-American at Gloucester County College, earning Second Team honors in 2012 and being named to the First Team in 2013, when he also was the National Player of the Year…Posted a 10-1 record as a sophomore, with six shutouts and a 0.68 ERA…Helped the Roadrunners win the 2013 NJCAA Div. III national championship…Struck out 178 in his GCC career and set the program record for most victories while compiling a 21-2 record.
 
High School: Captured three baseball letters at Holy Cross High School for Coach Steve Paolini…Also earned a basketball letter with the Lancers…Helped Holy Cross win a Patriot Division baseball title…Captured all-conference honors as a senior.
 
Personal: Born September 13, 1993…Business Management major at Rutgers-Camden…Jeff is the son of Mark and Kelly Singer of Cinnaminson.
