Southpaw Joe Hahn returns to the Rutgers-Camden pitching staff for his junior season this spring. Hahn, who has pitched one season at both Rutgers-Camden and New Jersey Athletic Conference rival Rowan University, has captured academic honors at both schools.

Baseball 2018: Appeared in three games out of the bullpen, working three innings and allowing two hits, three runs (two earned) and six walks…Struck out two…Compiled a 0-1 record and a 6.00 ERA…Held opponents to a .182 batting average…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut pitching 2/3 of an inning at Stevenson University (March 4), allowing one unearned run…Worked two innings and took the decision in a 10-8 loss against Anderson (March 15), allowing two hits, four walks and two earned runs, while striking out one…Walked two batters and struck out one in pitching 1/3 of a scoreless inning against Stevens Institute of Technology (April 8).

Pre-Rutgers: Appeared in four games without allowing a run during his 2017 season at Rowan University…Worked 3-1/3 innings, allowed three hits and struck out five…Named a Rowan Scholar-Athlete.

High School: A multi-sport athlete at Camden Catholic High School…Captured four varsity letters in baseball, three in football and one in basketball for the Irish…Played baseball for Coach Bob Bergholtz…Team captain in both baseball and football…During his senior year earned All-Conference Second Team honors in both baseball and football.

Personal: Born April 23, 1998…Criminal Justice major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to become a police office and, eventually, a state trooper…Joe is the son of Joe and Mary Hahn of Delran.
