A transfer from Sussex County Community College, Moises Roque joins Rutgers-Camden’s baseball program for his junior year of collegiate eligibility.

Pre-Rutgers: Played baseball at Sussex County Community College during the 2015 and 2016 seasons…During his freshman season, ht .300 (12-for-40) with one run and four RBIs…As a sophomore, hit .418 (56-for-134) with 12 doubles, one home run, 28 runs and 18 RBIs…Captured All-Garden State Athletic Conference Second Team Division II honors…As a sophomore, also appeared in two games on the mound, earning one save in three innings pitched, while striking out four. ..Over his two years, he combined to hit .391 (68-for-174) with a .427 on-base percentage and a .477 slugging percentage…Had 12 doubles, one home run, four HBP, seven walks, three sacrifices, 22 RBIs and 34 runs…Went 8-for-10 on his stolen base attempts.
