Ricky Glascock has earned several academic honors while pitching 17.1 innings over two seasons with the Scarlet Raptors.
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2021-22 scholastic year…Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List student for the 2020 Fall, 2021 Spring and 2022 Spring semesters.
Baseball 2022: Made seven appearances, starting two games…Worked 13.2 innings with a 0-0 record and a 4.61 ERA…Walked seven, struck out 11 and held opponents to a 2.55 batting average…Made his season debut pitching two innings and facing only the minimum six batters, notching a double play after hitting a batter…Struck out one in that appearance…Hurled one-third of a scoreless inning against Keuka (March 19) and two-third shutout innings against Ramapo (April 9, Game One), striking out two and allowing one hit against the Roadrunners…In his first start of the season against Neumann (April 12), worked four innings, allowing five hits, one walk and three earned runs, while striking out seven in an eventual Rutgers-Camden win…Made his longest appearance of the season against Arcadia (April 19), getting the start and working 5.2 innings, allowing four hits, three walks and three runs (only one earned), while striking out one…Pitching one relief inning against William Paterson (April 23, Game Two), allowing one hit, two walks and three unearned runs.
Baseball 2021: Appeared in four games out of the bullpen…Worked 3.2 innings, allowing three hits and three runs (two earned)…Walked six and struck out five…Posted a 4.91 ERA and had no decisions…Hurled one scoreless inning, allowing one hit and striking out one, in his collegiate debut at William Paterson (March 26)…Pitched one inning, allowing three walks and one earned run, while striking out three, at New Jersey City (April 10, Game One)…Threw 1.1 scoreless innings at Kean (April 24, Game One), allowing one hit and one walk, while fanning one…Worked one-third of an inning at The College of New Jersey (April 30), allowing two walks, one hit and two runs (one earned).
