Biography

A newcomer to the Rutgers-Camden baseball program after playing at Mercer County Community College, Ross Talbot earned a berth on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2017 semester.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played during the 2016 and 2017 seasons with Mercer County Community College…Helped team reach the NJCAA Division II World Series in both 2016 and 2017…Mercer finished fourth nationally in 2016 and was the national runner-up in 2017… Captured the 2017 Professor Art Forman Sportsmanship Award at MCCC.
 
High School: Earned three varsity letters for baseball and cross country at Hamilton High School West…Played baseball for Coach Mark Pienciak…Named cross country team MVP as a senior…Graduated in 2015.
 
Personal: Born February 10, 1997…Nicknamed “RedShoes”…Hobbies include fishing and golf…Interested in turf management and would love to be a greens keeper at Baltusrol Golf Club…Accounting major at Rutgers-Camden…Following graduation, he plans to attend Rutgers-New Brunswick and complete the two-year certificate program in the Professional Golf Turf Management School…Ross is the son of Mark and Christine Talbot of Hamilton.
