After two fine seasons at Brookdale Community College, Ryan Sullivan became a key cog in the Scarlet Raptors’ pitching staff during the 2015 season. He returns for his final season of collegiate eligibility this spring.

Baseball 2015: Tied for the staff lead with 13 appearances…Made eight starts and posted a 4-3 record and a 3.41 ERA…Second on the team with 40 strikeouts…Third on the club with 60-2/3 innings pitched…Allowed 51 hits, 25 walks and nine hit batsmen…Held opponents to a .231 batting average…Added one save… Ranked fifth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference in lowest batting average with runners on base (.229) and seventh against both right-handed hitters (.230) and left-handed hitters (.234)…Finished 10th in the NJAC in strikeouts, tied for 10th in wins, appearances and starts, and 12th in ERA…Tied for 14th in saves…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut March 17 with a start against #5-ranked Birmingham Southern University, hurling six innings of five-hit ball, allowing two runs (both earned) and two walks, while striking out eight and taking the loss in a 3-2 game…Hurled 1-1/3 hitless, scoreless relief innings, walking two and striking out one in the Raptors’ 8-7 loss against top-ranked and defending national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater (March 21)…Fired seven innings of one-hit, shutout walk, walking two and striking out eight, and got the win as the Raptors posted an 11-2 victory at Johns Hopkins University (March 25)…In that game, pitched 4-1/3 innings of no-hit ball before allowing his lone hit, a single to left field…Earned his save in an 8-4 win at William Paterson University (March 29), working the final three innings and allowing one hit, one earned run and two walks, while striking out two…Suffered a loss in relief at #30 Rowan University (April 6), working two innings and allowing three hits, one walk and one earned run…Collected the win in a 6-3 victory over Ramapo College (April 11, Game One), making the start and working 6-1/3 innings, allowing five hits, four walks and three earned runs, while adding two strikeouts…Worked seven innings to earn the win in a 9-4 decision at The College of New Jersey (April 17), allowing six hits, two runs (one earned) and one walk, while fanning two…Started and hurled nine innings of nine-hit ball as the Raptors lost a 3-2 game in 12 innings against Montclair State University (April 24)…He allowed two runs, one earned, and one walk, striking out five in a no decision…His toughest outing of the season came with one relief inning against The College of New Jersey (April 28) in the NJAC playoffs, taking the loss after allowing five earned runs, three hits and four walks…Bounced back in a post-season start against Ramapo College (May 2) to eliminate the Roadrunners from the NJAC playoffs, working seven innings of four-hit ball in a 2-1 victory…He allowed only two walks and one earned run, while striking out three in that game.

Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons of baseball at Brookdale Community College in 2012 and 2013…Earned All-Conference Third Team honors …Compiled a 2.02 ERA and a 7-5 record over his two seasons.
