Wilson Seville has appeared in seven games over his three seasons with the Rutgers-Camden baseball program, while earning several academic honors.
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2019-20 scholastic year…Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2018 Spring, 2018 Fall, 2019 Spring, 2019 Fall and 2020 Spring semesters…One of only 10 athletes on the 129-member 2018 Spring AD Honor Roll to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA…One of 47 athletes on the 171-member 2020 Spring AD Honor Roll to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA…Dean’s List.
Baseball 2020: Appeared in one game during the shortened 2020 season, which was limited to six games due to the COVID-19 pandemic…Went 0-for-1 against Immaculata (Feb. 23, Game Two) after being inserted as a defensive replacement in right field in the sixth inning…Grounded out in his seventh-inning at bat.
Baseball 2019: Did not play.
Baseball 2018: Played in six games in the outfield, as a pinch-hitter and as a pinch-runner…Hit .250 with a .400 on-base percentage…Reached base once as a hit batsman…Scored two runs, including his first Raptor run March 11 against Olivet College when he appeared as a pinch-hitter in the seventh inning, was hit by a pitch and scored on a double by Nolan Gerold…In a win over Kean University (April 29), went 1-for-2, stroking a pinch-hit single and scoring a run in a three-run eighth inning before adding a putout in right field.
Pre-Rutgers: Played at RCBC during the 2017 season…Appeared in eight games, going 2-for-9 (.222) with two runs, two doubles and one HBP…Had a .300 on-base percentage and a .444 slugging percentage…Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with seven putouts in seven total chances.
High School: Baseball letterman at Delran High School for Coach Rich Bender…Graduated in 2016.
Club Team: Played for Delran in the Rancocas Valley League.
