A two-year letterman with the Rowan College at Gloucester County men’s basketball program, Chin Akwarandu played two games with the Scarlet Raptors last season.

Basketball 2017-18: Appeared in two games…Averaged 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds…Added one blocked shot…Shot 2-for-8 from the floor (.250) and 1-for-1 from the foul line (1.000)…Notched three points, two rebounds and one blocked shot against City College of New York (Dec. 11)...Collected two points and three rebounds against Bryn Athyn College (Dec. 16).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two years with Rowan College at Gloucester County in 2014-15 and 2015-16…As a freshman, played in 21 games, starting one, and averaging 3.2 points and 3.5 rebounds…Added eight assists, 15 steals and 15 blocked shots…During his sophomore season, started 23 of his 24 games, averaging 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds…Made 28 steals, notched 12 assists and blocked 19 shots…During his two-year Roadrunner career, he averaged 5.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 45 games (24 starts), while adding 20 assists, 43 steals and 34 blocked shots…Totaled 233 points and 190 rebounds.
