Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Chris Brown barely had the chance to get his feet wet as a member of the Rutgers-Camden outdoor track team last spring before he suffered a season-ending injury. He returns to Scarlet Raptor athletic action this winter, joining the men’s basketball program.
 
Outdoor Track 2017:  Competed in two invitationals, suffering a season-ending injury in the second one…Made his Scarlet Raptor debut at the Golden Ram Invitational (March 25), finishing 32nd of 48 in the 200-meter dash (24.90), while anchoring both the 4x100 team (44.55, third of five) and the 4x400 team (3:58.74, 12th of 12)…At the Stockton Invitational (April 1), finished eighth of eight in his first collegiate long jump (5.33 meters) and seventh of seven while running the second leg of the 4x400 relay (3:52.29) before being injured in the 400-meter dash.
 
High School: Graduated from St. John’s Preparatory School in 2013…Member of the track and basketball teams.
 
Personal: Born February 19, 1995…Health Sciences major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to attend graduate school…Chris is the son of Henrietta and Ronald Kerr of Queens, New York.
