David Wilson returns to the Rutgers-Camden coaching staff for his third season as an assistant coach.
Coach Wilson was a three-year varsity letter winner at Willingboro High School in Willingboro, New Jersey and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a dual degree in Pre-Law and Criminology.
Wilson began his coaching career as an assistant at Willingboro High School in 1997. Over the course of the last 22 years, Coach Wilson has been an assistant with both Willingboro and Camden High Schools.
During his time at Willingboro High School, Coach Wilson helped guided the Chimeras to multiple sectional final games as well as the school’s first and only boys sectional championship.
As an assistant at Camden High School, Coach Wilson was a vital member on the coaching staff that saw their 2001 team peak as the #3 team in the country, according to the USA Today rankings.
Coach Wilson is currently in his 25th year as a teacher in the Camden City school district.
