Jarvis Perry joins the Rutgers-Camden men’s basketball coaching staff for the 2021-22 season after previously serving two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Willingboro High School.
Perry was a point guard at both Wilmington University (2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons) and at Lenoir-Rhyne University (20012-13 and 2013-14) in Hickory, North Carolina. He led the South Atlantic Conference in assists in 2013 (132 overall/93 in the SAC) and in assist/turnover ratio in 2014 (2.8 overall/3.3 in SAC play).
During his scholastic days at Willingboro High School, Perry earned First Team All-Conference in both 2009 and 2010. As a junior, he added Second Team All-Burlington County and Second Team Group 2 recognition. He capped his high school career in 2010 earning First Team Burlington County, First Team Group 2 and Second Team All-South Jersey recognition.
Perry received his B.A. in Marketing from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2014.
A resident of Mount Laurel, Perry works in the Contract Compliance Unit for the New Jersey Department of Labor.
