A member of Jason Curbison’s coaching staff from the beginning, Jim Lydon returns for his seventh season with the Scarlet Raptors’ basketball program.
 
Lydon and Curbison have been working together for years. A former player at Manor Junior College and Neumann University, Lydon also served as Curbison’s assistant for two seasons (2008-09 and 2009-10) when Curbison was coaching at Penn State-Abington. The 2014-15 campaign will be their seventh year together overall.
 
In addition to his collegiate coaching, Lydon also has coached nine years of CYO basketball in Philadelphia, including a berth in the state tournament semifinals.
 
A graduate of Father Judge High School in Philadelphia, Lydon received his fire suppression degree from the Sprinkler Fitters Local 692 in Philadelphia.
 
Jim and his wife Donna have two daughters, Delaney and Fallyn.
