Josiah Wiggins joined the Rutgers University-Camden men’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2019-20. Returning for his third season in 2021-22, Wiggins is now the Director of Basketball Operations, as well as an assistant coach.
Before coming to Rutgers University-Camden, Wiggins served as the Head of Statistics and Analytics for the Men’s Basketball team at Bob Jones University from 2016-2019. His role many times resembled an assistant coach and he took part in almost all aspects of the program. The Bruins claimed two National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) DII South Region Titles (2017 and 2018) and finished as the Runner-Up at the NCCAA DII National Championship in 2018 while Wiggins was on staff.
Wiggins also spent two summers (2017 and 2018) working as an intern for the Princeton University Men’s Basketball Team. He has attended various coaching clinics, including a week spent with the coaches at Furman University in their inaugural year of the AllDin Coaches Academy.
Wiggins earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Bob Jones University in 2018. He and his wife, Jacquelynne, reside in Hammonton, New Jersey.
