Biography
An addition to the Rutgers-Camden roster during the spring semester last year, Harry Sauers returns for his sophomore season at Rutgers-Camden. In addition to playing in seven games during his freshman year, Sauers also earned a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the Spring 2017 semester.

Basketball 2016-17: Played in seven games, beginning with his collegiate debut against The College of New Jersey (Jan. 18), when he grabbed one rebound in four minutes of playing time…Averaged 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds, while collecting two assists, one block and one steal…Shot 6-for-14 (.429) from the floor and 2-for-3 (.667) from the foul line…Had a blocked shot against Rowan University (Jan. 25)…Scored his first two collegiate points against Stockton University (Feb. 1), going 2-for-2 from the foul line…Notched both of his assists, his one steal and added one rebound against Ramapo College (Feb. 8)…Played his season high of 23 minutes against William Paterson University (Feb. 11), collecting career highs of 10 points and eight rebounds…Shot 5-for-6 from the floor in that Paterson game…Added two points in his final game against Montclair State University (Feb. 15).

High School: Graduated from Baptist Regional School in 2016…Played basketball and soccer all four years…Captain of the basketball team as a junior and senior…Earned Second Team All-Conference as a sophomore and First Team as a junior and senior…Also played on the South Jersey Jazz club team.

Personal: Born April 11, 1998…Enjoys watching football and soccer…Business major at Rutgers-Camden…Plans to become a police officer and then run his own business…Harry is the son of Susan Sauers of West Berlin.
