A graduate student at Rutgers-Camden who played his collegiate ball at the University of the Sciences, Javon Gordon played a big role on the Rutgers-Camden basketball team during the 2023-24 season.

Basketball 2023-24: Played in 22 games, starting 20…Averaged 6.8 points and 2.5 rebounds…Second on the team with 59 assists…Second on the team with 36 steals…Fourth on the team with 11 blocked shots…Shot 57-for-136 (.419) from the field, including 25-for-73 (.342) from three-point range…Shot 10-for-17 (.588) from the foul line…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut against Hunter (Nov. 8), starting and playing 29 minutes, while collecting three rebounds, two steals and two points…Scored in double figures five times, all in consecutive games from Dec. 30-Jan. 13, including his high of 19 points against Penn State-Berks (Jan. 3)…Had highs of six rebounds against Baruch (Nov. 14) and Montclair State (Jan. 0)…Notched three or more assists in 14 games, with highs of six against both Montclair State (Dec. 2) and New Jersey City (Feb. 14)…Collected two blocked shots against both Baruch (Nov. 14) and William Paterson (Jan. 13).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons of basketball at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia…Would have played a third season, but the 2020-21 campaign was cancelled due to Covid-19…As a freshman in 2019-20, was one of only four USP Devils to play in all 26 games, starting nine…Averaged 5.2 points and 2.0 rebounds, while adding 45 assists and 24 steals…Notched his career high of 23 points at Nyack (Feb. 1)…During the 2021-22 season, played in 15 games and averaged 2.2 points and 1.5 rebounds, while adding 14 assists and 11 steals…Had a career high of 10 rebounds against Felician (Jan. 1 ).
 
High School: Basketball letterman at Delsea Regional High School for Coach Tom Freeman, a former Rutgers-Camden athlete…Led the Crusaders to the 2018 South Jersey championship…Earned All-Conference and All-South Jersey Third Team honors…Collected over 1,400 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals during his Delsea career…4.0 GPA leading to academic scholarships…Graduated in 2019.
