Biography
A two-year letterman at Cumberland County College, Jordan Aikens joins the Scarlet Raptors’ program this winter.
Pre-Rutgers: Played at Cumberland County College during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons…As a freshman, played in 18 games, averaging 1.3 points and 1.8 rebounds, while adding seven assists, three steals and two blocked shots…During his sophomore year, started 24 of his 26 games, averaging 4.3 points and 5.3 rebounds…Added 13 assists, 12 steals and 12 blocked shots…For his two-year career, started 24 of his 44 games, scoring 135 points (3.1 ppg) and grabbing 170 rebounds (3.9 rpg)…Collected 20 assists, 15 steals and 14 blocked shots…Shot .539 from the floor (55-for-102), including 1-for-1 (1.000) from three-point range…Shot 24-for-44 (.545) from the foul line.
High School: Graduate of Buena Regional High School in 2015.
Personal: Born March 14, 1997…Enjoys basketball, working out, hanging out with friends and family, and sleeping…Criminal Justice major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to pursue a career as a detective or at a police department…Jordan is the son of Pamela Aikens of Newtonville.
