Rutgers-Camden Athletics

 Patrick Campbell joined the Rutgers-Camden men’s basketball program for the 2023-24 season after playing two seasons at Camden County College and one at Cabrini University. He  added academic honors in his first semester at Rutgers-Camden.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Dean’s List student for the 2023 Fall semester.
 
Basketball 2023-24: Appeared in 12 games, averaging 0.9 points and 0.8 rebounds…Added three assists and one steal…Shot 5-for-17 (.294) from the field, including 1-for-8 (.125) from three-point range…Played his first game with the Scarlet Raptors against Baruch (Nov. 14), shooting 1-for-1 from the field for two points…Registered his Raptor highs of five points and four rebounds against Penn State-Berks (Jan. 3), while tying his high with one assist…Had one assist, two points and his lone steal against Rowan (Dec. 6)…Also had one assist against Rutgers-Newark (Dec. 9).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons at Camden County College before appearing in 24 games at Cabrini during the 2022-23 season…Started three games for the Cavaliers, averaging 2.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game…Added 10 assists, five blocks and five steals.
 
High School: Captured six varsity letters at Haddon Heights High School, including three apiece in basketball and baseball…Earned First Team All-Colonial Conference basketball honors as a senior for Coach Mike Ricci…Graduated in 2020.
 
Personal: Born June 2, 2001…Nicknamed “Pat”…Interests include Philadelphia sports and baseball…Business Management major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to become a sports agent or run his own business…Patrick is the son of Matthew and Tricia Campbell of Haddon Heights.
