Quameer Amin joined the Scarlet Raptors’ basketball program early in the 2022-23 season and provided a spark with his all-around play.
Basketball 2022-23: Played in 17 games, starting one…Averaged 3.2 points and 1.7 rebounds…Shot 8-for-10 (.800) from the foul line…Shot 19-for-55 (.345) from the floor…Collected 16 assists and 16 steals…Made his collegiate debut against Montclair State (Dec. 3), collecting seven points, three rebounds, three assists and one steal…Established his season highs of nine points, three steals and one blocked shot against Rowan (Dec. 7)…Also had three steals against Baruch (Dec. 30)…Notched seven points in back-to-back games against Rowan (Feb. 1) and Ramapo (Feb. 4), while establishing his high of four rebounds in the Ramapo game…Tied his rebounding high of four boards against New Jersey City (Feb. 15).
