Sam Dolphin joined the Scarlet Raptors for the 2020-21 basketball season, where he played a key role providing depth and talent off the bench.
 
Basketball 2020-21: Played in all nine Scarlet Raptor games, averaging 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds…Notched eight steals and seven assists, while tying for the team lead with two blocked shots…Shot .257 from the floor (19-for-74) and .500 from the foul line (10-for-20)…Scored 10 points and added seven rebounds, both season highs, in his first game as a Scarlet Raptor, coming in the season opener at Rutgers-Newark (Feb. 5)…Notched six rebounds against Rutgers-Newark the next day in Camden (Feb. 6)…Tied his season high of 10 points at New Jersey City (March 5), while adding four rebounds…Had a season-high three steals against Stockton (Feb. 19), while adding five points, three rebounds and two assists.
 
Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List student for the 2020 Fall semester…One of only 29 athletes on the 151-member 2020 Fall AD Honor Roll to post a perfect 4.0 GPA.
