Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A transfer from Rowan College at Gloucester County, where she was a NJCAA First Team All-Region player, Brennah Lambert joins the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball program this season.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons of basketball with the Rowan College at Gloucester County program (2015-17)…All-Region XIX Division III First Team honors for the 2016-17 season…Named the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Div. III Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Jan. 18, 2017…During her freshman season, played in 21 games, starting five, and averaging 11.1 points and 2.1 rebounds…Added 66 assists and 51 steals…Shot 33-for-97 (.340) from three-point range…As a sophomore, started all 22 of her games, averaging 16.2 points and 2.0 rebounds…Shot 31-for-79 from three-point range for the 13th best percentage (.392) in NJCAA Division III…Collected 65 assists and 41 steals…For her two-year career, started 24 of her 43 games, scoring 591 points (13.7 ppg) and averaging 2.0 rebounds…Had 131 career assists and 100 steals with the Roadrunners, while shooting 64-for-176 (.364) from three-point range.
 
High School: Two-sport letterwinner at Sterling High School…Captured two basketball letters for Coach Kate McDonald…Also added one letter in volleyball…Graduated in 2015.
 
Personal:  Born March 1, 1997…Hobbies and interests include basketball, calisthenics, vegan food and gardening…Business Management major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to pursue a career in entrepreneurship and develop a meal planning business…Also plans to travel the world…Brennah is the daughter of Heather Lambert of Lindenwold.
