Rutgers-Camden Athletics

One of the Scarlet Raptors’ top student-athletes, Cam Allen has captured three varsity letters with the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer program while also earning three berths on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. Allen, who has appeared in 22 games over his Scarlet Raptor career, notched his first three collegiate assists last season.
 
Allen will serve as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ four captains this season.

Soccer 2017:  Played in eight games, starting one…Collected three assists…Took two shots…Made his season debut playing 32 minutes in a 6-2 win over Keystone College (Sept. 2)…Notched his first career assist on the eventual game-winning goal by Vincenzo Masitti during a 3-1 victory over Misericordia University (Sept. 19)…Assisted on both goals in a 2-1 win at Swarthmore College (Oct. 16), while playing his season high of 58 minutes…Both of those assists came off corner kicks, including the game-winning goal by Darnell Brown on a header at 73:50…Made his lone start during a 7-1 win at Lancaster Bible College (Oct. 19)…Rutgers-Camden posted an 8-0 record in the games Allen played.
 
Soccer 2016: Appeared in 11 games, starting two…Took one shot…Made his season debut playing 34 minutes in a 4-0 victory over Farmingdale State (Sept. 10)…Had his first start in a 4-2 win over Kean University (Oct. 15)…Also started a 2-1 loss at New Rochelle (Nov. 5)…Overall, played in four of the Scarlet Raptors’ seven shutouts.
 
Soccer 2015: Played in three games during his freshman season…Made his collegiate debut by playing 20 minutes in a 9-0 victory over Rosemont College in the Scarlet Raptors’ season opener, Sept. 1…Played his season high of 45 minutes in a 7-1 victory over Misericordia University (Sept. 23)…Played 15 minutes in a 5-1 win over Ramapo College (Oct. 10), his first action in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game.
 
High School: Four-year soccer letterman at Northern Burlington Regional High School for Coach Justin Faust…Selected to play in the BCSL Senior Night All-Star Game…Two-year team captain…National Honor Society…Graduated in 2015.
 
Club Team: NJCSA Academy… Played for NJCSA U-18 USSDA under Coach Antonio Meza.
 
Personal: Born December 14, 1996…Camren “Cam” Allen…Dual Education and History major at Rutgers-Camden…with a minor in Political Science…Plans to become a high school history teacher and a professional soccer coach…Camren is the son of Marc and Gwen Allen of Tabernacle.
