Anthony Tarsatana joins the Rutgers-Camden coaching staff this season, adding plenty of experience to his role coaching the Scarlet Raptors’ goalkeepers.
A goalie during his playing career, Tarsatana earned soccer letters at Camden County College in 1988 and at St. Andrew’s College in 1989 and 1990. Over the years he has served as a collegiate assistant coach, working with goalies at Widener University (2016-2018), Rowan University (2018-2020) and Rosemont College (2021-2024).
Tarsatana also served as the boys’ head soccer coach at Highland Regional High School and Timber Creek Regional High School from 1992-2005, in addition to being a health and physical education teacher at those schools. He led Timber Creek to an Olympic Conference National Division championship in 2003. He also served for 12 years as the Vice Principal at Triton Regional High School.
Tarsatana also has served numerous club programs over the years as a coach, goalkeeper trainer and team trainer.
Tarsatana, a soccer letterman as a goalkeeper during his scholastic days at Washington Township High School, is a resident of Sewell.
