A four-year Scarlet Raptor letterman, Camren “Cam” Allen finished his Rutgers-Camden playing career in 2018 before transitioning to the coaching staff this season. Allen completed the US Soccer Grassroots 11v11 course and the US Soccer D license courses over the summer of 2019.
Allen played in 32 career games at Rutgers-Camden, starting five, and producing one goal and three assists for five points. His lone goal, coming Sept. 18, 2018 at Misericordia, proved to be the game-winning tally.
During his junior season in 2017, Allen collected three assists in his eight games.
One of the Raptors’ team leaders, Allen served as a captain during his senior season. Academically, he was a Dean’s List student, captured five berths on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and was named New Jersey Academic Honorable Mention for the 2018-19 scholastic year.
A four-year letterman at Northern Burlington Regional High School, Allen was a two-time team captain and a member of the National Honor Society. He was selected to play in the BCSL Senior Night All-Star Game.
Allen graduated from Rutgers-Camden in 2019 as a dual major in History and Education, with a minor in Political Science.
