Born and raised in England, Luke Tyler brings a vast amount of soccer knowledge and experience to his first year as an assistant coach at Rutgers-Camden.
Tyler played professionally in England for numerous teams, including Cambridge, Stevenage, and Rushden & Diamonds. He played and coached in the FA Cup and served as a coach with the Premier League team West Bromwich Albion F.C.
Since moving to the United States in 2010, Tyler founded the Soccer Development Schools, LLC, in 2011. The owner of the Soccer Development Schools, he has coached there, in addition to coaching as an assistant at both Arcadia University (2016, 2017) and Rowan University (2018).
Tyler holds FA, USSF and AYSO certifications.
A graduate of Moulton College (Moulton, Northamptonshire, England), he received his NVQ Level 2 (National Vocational Qualification) degree in 2006. He is a resident of Medford Lakes.
