Enrique Sanchez had a fine rookie season for the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer team, starting seven of his 18 games and showing his vast potential to be a major impact player in his career.
 
Soccer 2019: Appeared in 18 games, starting seven…Tied for the team lead with four assists…Added one goal to tie for fifth on the team in points (6)…Collected one game-winning goal…Took 12 shots, three on goal…Made his collegiate debut playing 37 minutes in the season-opening 1-0 win over Carthage (Aug. 30), while also recording his first collegiate shot…Made his first start during a 5-1 win over Mount St. Vincent (Aug. 31)…Collected his first assist in a 2-0 victory against Montclair State (Sept. 21)…Added another assist in a 2-2 tie at Kean (Sept. 28)…Started six of his last seven games, beginning with a 3-2 win over Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 12) in which he notched an assist, played his season high of 68 minutes and collected his season high of three shots…Earned his fourth assist of the year during a 3-2 win over Penn State-Abington (Oct. 23)…His first collegiate goal, at 102:04 proved to be the game-winning tally in a 1-0 victory over Stockton (Oct. 30).
