Biography
A four-year Rutgers-Camden letterman, Ethan Dreyer capped his career as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ team captains while continuing his outstanding academic work. Dreyer was named Rutgers-Camden’s male winner of the Jeffrey L. Dean Scarlet Raptor of the Year Award for the 2024-25 scholastic year, while also adding New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic First Team honors.

An outstanding student with numerous academic honors, Dreyer played 46 career games at Rutgers-Camden, starting 17. He notched three goals, including a game winner, and one assist for seven points in his career.

Soccer 2024: Jeffrey L. Dean Scarlet Raptor of the Year…Served as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ four team captains…Appeared in five games…Took one shot…Made his season debut during a 1-0 win over Neumann (Aug. 30), taking one shot…Also played in the team’s 0-0 shutout against Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 2) and a 1-1 tie at Rowan (Oct. 5)…Played in a pair of 1-0 conference losses against Stockton (Oct. 12) and Kean (Oct. 26).

Soccer 2023: Played in all 19 Rutgers-Camden games, starting seven…Scored one goal for two points…Took 13 shots, five on goal…Contributed to all eight Rutgers-Camden shutouts, including three as a starter…Scored his lone goal during a season-opening 4-0 win over Arcadia (Sept. 1)…Took his high of two shots on three occasions, including the Arcadia game, a 1-1 tie at Wilkes (Sept. 16) and a 1-0 loss at Haverford (Oct. 3).

Soccer 2022: Played in 12 games, starting eight…Produced two goals, including one game winner…Added one assist for five points…Took seven shots, four on goal…Started the season opener against Arcadia (Sept. 1), taking one shot in the team’s 2-0 loss…Collected his first career point, an assist, during a 2-1 victory over Whitman (Sept. 10)…Made his first career goal count as the game winner in a 2-0 victory over Wilkes (Sept. 17)…Took a season-high two shots, both on goal, and collected his second career tally in a 3-2 loss against Immaculata (Sept. 21)…Played in four of the Raptors’ nine shutouts, starting two of them.

Soccer 2021: Appeared in 10 games, starting two…Made his collegiate debut in the season-opening 3-0 win over Arcadia (Sept. 2), the first of three straight shutouts he played in to start his career…Also played in a 0-0 tie against New York University (Sept. 4) before making his first career start and playing 37 minutes in a 7-0 win over Gwynedd Mercy (Sept. 5)…His second career start came in a 1-1 tie at Cabrini (Sept. 15), where he played his high of 39 minutes…Played 32 minutes in a 1-0 win over Springfield (Nov. 13) in the ECAC tournament and also saw 13 minutes of action the next day in the ECAC semifinals, a 2-0 loss to Muhlenberg.
