Faruk Ozdemir returns to the Scarlet Raptors’ soccer program this season after playing in eight games during the 2015 campaign. He also was named to the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2016 spring semester.

Soccer 2015: Appeared in eight games during his freshman season…Took five shots, two on goal…Made his collegiate debut in a season-opening 9-0 victory over Rosemont College (Sept. 1), playing 20 minutes and taking one shot on goal…Played 45 minutes and took two shots in a 7-1 victory over Misericordia University (Sept. 23)…Notched a season-high 51 minutes of playing time in a 3-2 overtime loss at Kean University (Oct. 3)…Had one shot on goal during a 5-1 win over Ramapo College (Oct. 10).

High School: Four-year soccer letterman at Burlington City High School for Coach Dennis Hardies…Two-time team co-captain…NJ.com Burlington County Scholastic League Boys Soccer Player of the Year as a senior in 2014…Three-time All-BCSL player…All-Group 1 Third Team in 2014…Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey All-State Honorable Mention.
