Biography

Fatai King returns for his final season with the Scarlet Raptors this fall. King has played Rutgers-Camden games in four seasons but had his eligibility restored after an injury-plagued 2017 campaign, which limited him to three games. King has appeared in 40 career games, starting six, over his Rutgers-Camden career. He owns three career assists.

Soccer 2018: Played in 15 games, starting two…Collected one assist and took one shot…Started and took one shot in a 2-0 victory over Old Westbury (Sept. 1)…Notched his lone assist on a goal by Sinan Tuzcu in a 2-1 win at Misericordia (Sept. 18)…Played his season high of 57 minutes in a 1-0 loss at Cabrini (Sept. 12)…Made his second start in a 2-1 win over Lancaster Bible (Oct. 10).
 
Soccer 2017: Played in three games, starting two…Notched one assist…Made his season debut off the bench, playing four minutes in the Raptors’ loss to Christopher Newport University (Sept. 10)…Started and collected his lone assist during a 5-1 victory over Cabrini University (Sept. 13), while playing his season high of 52 minutes…Started the Raptors’ 2-0 loss at Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 16).
 
Soccer 2016: Played in 14 games, starting two…Notched one assist…Had one shot, on goal, for a 1.000 percentage…Played a career-high 59 minutes in the Raptors’ season-opening 3-3 tie against St. Mary’s (Sept. 2)…Had his first career start and contributed to a 1-0 shutout against Alvernia (Sept. 7)…Assisted on the Raptors’ lone goal and took his lone shot of the season in a 2-1 loss to New Rochelle (Nov. 5)…Started the Scarlet Raptors’ ECAC tournament opener, a 3-1 win over Hunter College (Nov. 12).
 
Soccer 2015: Played in eight games during his rookie season…Took three shots, one on goal…Made his collegiate debut by playing 43 minutes during a 9-0 season-opening victory over Rosemont College (Sept. 1), taking one shot…Played his season high of 58 minutes, taking one shot on goal, in a 3-2 loss at Kean University (Oct. 3).
 
High School: Captured four varsity soccer letters for Coach Damon Petras at Rancocas Valley Regional High School…Third Team All-State…Listed as a high school player to watch and among the Top 50 best players in the state…Philadelphia Inquirer All-South Jersey Second Team as a senior...As a junior, earned Courier-Post All-South Jersey First Team and Philadelphia Inquirer All-South Jersey Second Team…Regional ODP player (2012-16)…Graduated in 2015.
