Giuseppe DeLuca has been a valuable member of two New Jersey Athletic Conference championship teams in his two seasons at Rutgers-Camden. He has played in 42 career games and collected three goals, one assist and seven points, while helping the Raptors post an amazing two-year record of 40-3-5.

Soccer 2013: Played in 21 games, helping the Scarlet Raptors post a program-best 23-1-2 season, win their third straight NJAC title and earn their first berth ever in the NCAA Division III championship game…Collected two goals and one assist for five points…His goal against Cairn University (Oct. 22) broke a scoreless tie and proved to be his first game-winning tally as the Scarlet Raptors posted a 2-0 victory…Also scored a goal during a 5-0 win over Arcadia University (Sept. 8)…Notched an assist during a 5-0 win over Eastern Mennonite University (Sept. 7)…Both the Arcadia and Eastern Mennonite games were part of the Scarlet Raptors’ own Cialella Soccer Classic, giving DeLuca one goal and one assist as Rutgers-Camden captured its sixth title at the annual event.

Soccer 2012: Played in 21 of the Scarlet Raptors’ 22 games…Took eight shots and scored one goal for two points…Made his collegiate debut in a 3-0 victory over Wesley College (Sept. 2) as the Scarlet Raptors won the weather-shortened Blue Jay Classic at Johns Hopkins University...Took his first collegiate shot in that game…Notched his first collegiate goal in the NJAC semifinals Nov. 2, scoring on a one-timer at the right post off a cross from Mike Ryan…The goal, at 30:07, broke a scoreless tie and led the Scarlet Raptors to a 3-1 victory over Rutgers-Newark…Three days later, DeLuca’s performance helped him earn honors as the NJAC Rookie of the Week on Nov. 5.
