Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Jason Stearn has captured three letters as a member of the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer team, appearing in 18 games over his career. A Dean’s List student who has added numerous academic honors, Stearn will serve as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ four captains in 2025.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 scholastic years…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2022 Fall, 2023 Spring, 2023 Fall, 2024 Spring, 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student. One of only 41 students on the 180-member 2025 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA.
 
Soccer 2024: Played in seven games, starting one…Took one shot…Contributed to three of the Raptors’ nine shutouts…Made his season debut in a 1-0 win over Haverford (Aug. 31)…Had his first career start in a 1-0 win over Ramapo (Sept. 28)…Also contributed to a 1-0 win at New Jersey City (Oct. 19), when he took his lone shot….Rutgers-Camden went 4-2-1 in the seven games he appeared.
 
Soccer 2023: Played in five games, beginning with a 4-0 win in the season opener against Arcadia (Sept. 1)…Also helped the Raptors post a 5-4 win at Immaculata (Sept. 18)…Appeared in a pair of losses against nationally-ranked teams in a 4-0 defeat at Messiah (Sept. 9) and a 5-0 loss against Montclair State (Oct. 21)…Also played in a 2-0 loss at Kean (Oct. 7).
                       
Soccer 2022: Played in six games, beginning with a loss at Swarthmore (Sept. 4)…Contributed to a 2-0 win over Wilkes (Sept. 17) and a 1-0 victory at Ramapo (Sept. 28)…Also helped the Raptors tie Penn State-Abington, 1-1, in a road game Sept. 26…His other two appearances came in losses against Immaculata (Sept. 21) and Rowan (Oct. 12).
 
Centerback Jason Stearn, a multi-sport scholastic star, joins the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer program this season.
 
High School: Earned seven varsity letters at William Penn Charter School, including four in soccer, two in basketball and one in football…Two-time All-Conference First Team player as a junior and a senior in soccer…Earned four varsity soccer letters and added two letters for basketball and one for football…Graduated in 2022.

Personal: Born February 28, 2004…Interests include history and real estate…Finance major with an Economics minor at Rutgers-Camden who wants to work for a large investment firm and eventually start his own business…Jason is the son of Jason and Ashley Stearn of Philadelphia.
