Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Striker Joshua Pereira appeared in seven games for the Scarlet Raptors as a freshman, collecting one game-winning goal while adding numerous academic honors.
 
Academics: Dean’s List student and member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2023 Fall and 2024 Spring semesters…One of only 22 athletes on the 151-member 2023 Fall AD Honor Roll to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA…One of only 30 athletes on the 138-member 2024 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA.
 
Soccer 2023: Played in seven games, all off the bench…Took two shots, one on goal…Scored a huge goal in his first appearance at Rutgers-Camden, collecting the game-winning goal in the 76th minute during a wild 5-4 victory at Immaculata (Sept. 18)…Contributed to three of the Raptors’ eight shutouts, including 1-0 wins over Ramapo (Sept. 27) and New Jersey City (Sept. 30) and a 0-0 tie at Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 14).
 
High School: Soccer letterman at Cinnaminson High School…Graduated in 2023.

Personal: Born July 14, 2005…Hobbies and interests include going to the gym, basketball and video games…Accounting major at Rutgers-Camden who lists future plans as  getting a job, getting a house/apartment and then getting married…Joshua is the son of Edson and Gysely Pereira of Cinnaminson.
