Justin Bamgboye has earned a pair of New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention awards during his three-year soccer career at Rutgers-Camden, while capturing numerous other achievements in the classroom. He has played in 18 career games as a Scarlet Raptor.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 scholastic years…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Dean’s List student during the 2022 Fall, 2023 Spring, 2023 Fall, 2024 Spring, 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…One of only 25 students on the 133-member 2022 Fall AD Honor Roll to compile a perfect 4.0 GPA…One of only 21 students on the 106-member 2023 Spring AD Honor Roll to compile a perfect 4.0 GPA…One of only 30 students on the 138-member 2024 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA…One of only 41 students on the 180-member 2025 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA.
 
Soccer 2024: Appeared in one game, helping the Scarlet Raptors post a 1-0 win at New Jersey City (Oct. 19).
 
Soccer 2023: Played in four games…Helped the Raptors post a 5-4 win at Immaculata (Sept. 18) and a pair of ties (1-1 at Wilkes, Sept. 16 and 0-0 at Rutgers-Newark Oct. 14)…Also played in a 4-0 loss at nationally-ranked Messiah (Sept. 9).
 
Soccer 2022: Appeared in 13 games…Took three shots, one on goal…Made his collegiate debut and took his first shot in a 2-0 season-opening loss at Arcadia (Sept. 1)…Had a shot on goal in a 3-2 loss against Immaculata (Sept. 21)…Contributed to five of the Raptors’ nine shutouts.
 
High School:  Four-year soccer letterman at Manville High School…All-State Honorable Mention…Two-time Skyland Mountain Division First Team player…All-County Second Team…Team captain during junior and senior seasons…Team MVP as a senior…Graduated in 2022.

Personal: Born May 31, 2004…Last name pronounced “Bam-boy”…Likes to play video games or draw in his free time…Also likes to listen to music…Interests include learning more about our government, hence the major, and fashion…Is a huge sneakerhead and has a small collection of sneakers…Political Science major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to either pursue corporate or government work, working with policies to help make better decisions for the company or in government…Justin is the son of David and Adebo Bamgboye of Manville.
