Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A transfer who was a Third Team All-American at Mercer County Community College, Kellen Groover will compete for time in the Scarlet Raptors’ goal this season.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons for NJCAA Division I power Mercer County Community College in 2014 and 2015…During his freshman season in 2014, started all 19 of his games, posting a 14-5 record with 117 saves, eight shutouts, an .880 save percentage and a 1.06 goals-against average…Posted a shutout over Bucks County, 3-0, in his first collegiate game (Aug. 27)…Captured Second Team All-Region 19 and First Team All-Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC)…As a sophomore, started all 21 games, and posted an 18-0-3 record, six shutouts, 114 saves, an .891 save percentage and a 0.73 GAA…His save percentage led the nation…Captured Third Team All-American honors…Also earned First Team All-Region and First Team GSAC recognition.
 
High School: Captured two varsity letters apiece in baseball and soccer at Life Center Academy…Graduated in 2014.
