Junior College star Kwame Mensah joins the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer program this season where he will bring experience and talent to the Scarlet Raptors’ defense.
 
Pre-Rutgers: A transfer from Otero Junior College in Colorado who played two seasons with the Rattlers…NSCAA Region IX Second Team player in 2012…Played in nine games, collecting five goals and two assists for 12 points as a freshman in 2011.
 
High School: Two-year varsity soccer letterman at Gateway High School for Coach Olaf Siverson…Originally a forward, whose size and vision prompted a switch to center midfield…Continental League Second Team as a senior in 2010.
 
Personal: Born December 7, 1991…Nickname “Kwame Ezy”…Played club soccer for the Colorado Fusion, Colorado Rapids Academy and Philly United…Hobbies include playing video games and hanging out with friends…Undeclared major with a Sports Management minor…Future plans include professional soccer and “what God has for me in store”…Kwame is the son of Mercy and Owusu Mensah of Aurora, Colorado.
