Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Mark Schuhl started four of his 14 games as a rookie at Rutgers-Camden in 2021. He played in four of the Scarlet Raptors’ five shutouts and added one assist.
 
Soccer 2021: Played in 14 games, starting four…Notched one assist…Took two shots, both on goal…Appeared in three consecutive shutouts to start his career, playing 28 minutes in a season-opening 3-0 win over Arcadia (Sept. 2) and 32 minutes in a 0-0 tie against New York University (Sept. 4)…Made his first career start, played 57 minutes, took his first shot and notched his first collegiate point with an assist on the game-winning goal by Khari Shepherd in a 7-0 victory over Gwynedd Mercy (Sept. 5)…Started and played his season high of 100 minutes in a 1-1 double-overtime tie at Cabrini (Sept. 15)…Started and played 53 minutes in the Raptors’ 1-0 shutout at Immaculata (Sept. 21).
 
A sophomore academically with freshman eligibility in soccer, fullback Mark Schuhl joins the Rutgers-Camden men’s program this fall.
 
High School:  Captured three varsity letters at Paul VI High School…Earned All-Conference First Team honors as a senior in 2019…Captured All-Conference Second Team during his sophomore season…Graduated in 2020.

Personal: Born January 18, 2002…Enjoys soccer and spending time with family and friends…Business major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to “get a good job and get my own house”…Mark is the son of Scott and Mary Jo Schuhl of Blackwood.
