Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Matt Foster returns for his second season with the Scarlet Raptors. During his freshman year in 2013, he joined his brother Bobby, a senior co-captain, as the Raptors posted the most successful season in program history. Rutgers-Camden went 23-1-2, captured its third straight New Jersey Athletic Conference title and advanced to the NCAA Division III championship game for the first time ever.
 
Soccer 2013: Played in eight games for the Scarlet Raptors…Made his collegiate debut Sept. 7, playing 15 minutes in a 5-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite University…Played 13 minutes the next day in a 5-0 victory over Arcadia University as the Scarlet Raptors won their own Cialella Soccer Classic…Overall contributed to five of the Raptors’ program record-tying 12 shutouts, including a 5-0 win against New Jersey City University (Oct. 30) in which he played a season-high 18 minutes…Saw action in a 4-1 victory over The College of New Jersey (Nov. 6) in the NJAC semifinals.
 
Soccer 2012: Missed the entire season with an injury.
 
High School: Four-year varsity soccer letterman and two-year golf letterman at Burlington Township High School, playing for Coaches Jon Marks and Scott Shirk…Named All-County First Team by the Burlington County Times...First Team Burlington County Scholastic League Liberty Division…BCSL All-Star…Also earned two letters in golf.
 
Personal: Born November 7, 1993…Hobbies include golf and basketball…Played club soccer for Mount Laurel United…Marketing major at Rutgers-Camden…Brother Bobby was a four-year letterman (2010-13) who earned all-conference honors for the Scarlet Raptors…Matt is the son of Cheryl and Robert Foster of Burlington.
