Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Michael Buchy has earned two letters with the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer program, appearing in 22 games over two seasons. He has made eight career starts and owns one goal and one assist for three points. His one goal was a game-winning tally during his freshman season.

Soccer 2020: Did not play soccer during the pandemic-shortened season.
 
Soccer 2019: Appeared in six games, starting two…Contributed to a defense that posted a 1.05 goals-against average and nine shutouts…Made his season debut by starting a 5-1 victory over Mount St. Vincent (Aug. 31), appearing in his season high of 29 minutes…Contributed to a 1-0 shutout against Alvernia (Sept. 4) and a 2-0 shutout over Immaculata (Sept. 18)…Made his second start and played 24 minutes in a 2-0 loss at King’s College (Oct. 8).
 
Soccer 2018: Appeared in 16 games, starting six…Had one goal (a game winner) and one assist for three points…Took four shots, two on goal…Made his collegiate debut in a start against New York University in the season opener (Aug. 31)…His first career points came on the game-winning goal against Kean University (Sept. 22), scoring at 80:09 to provide the lone tally in the Scarlet Raptors’ 1-0 win…Assisted on Vergil Douglas’ game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Lancaster Bible (Oct. 10)…Started and played his season high of 83 minutes at Misericordia (Sept. 18).
 
High School:  Four-year varsity soccer letterman for Coach Jim Wallace at Garnet Valley High School…Graduated in 2018.
